Dear Pastor,

I would like to introduce you to Dr. Tony Whitney, founder of Health Fitness
Ministries. As his pastor, I would also like to recommend his unique program to you
and your congregation. With more than thirty years of teaching experience, Tony
brings a different approach to health and fitness. He gives people the tools they
need to experience higher levels of spiritual well ness as well as physical fitness.

Some of the services he offers include presentations, workshops, personal fitness
programs and diet evaluations. Presentation outlines can be tailored to meet your
needs and the type of audience. Equipping assistance is also available for the
development of your church's own Health Fitness Ministry.

Comments from participants: "Very informative and inspiring; I now have a better
understanding of my spiritual responsibility to be healthy; related scriptures were
helpful; lots of great handouts; and I would do it again."

On a personal note, my wife and I have completed one of Tony's workshops and are
reaping the benefits from his teaching. His connection between the physical and
spiritual well being accurately aligns with the Bible.

Tony's credentials are extensive. He is a retired Professor Emeritus of Exercise
Science from Youngstown State University in Ohio. In addition he has taught at the
U. S. Naval Academy and Ohio State University where he completed his doctorate
degree. Dr. Whitney was the founder and director of Professional Cardiac
Rehabilitation, Inc., one of the most successful cardiac rehabilitation programs in
the country with over 400 active patients.

Dear Pastor,

Please allow me to introduce a unique concept of stewardship. Paul, in I Corinthians
6: 19 and elsewhere, tells us the body is the "temple of the living God". To be good temple stewards of the bodies we have been given, we should be taking better care to maintain, strengthen and improve our health and fitness in order to serve God better and to remove some of the limitations to our spiritual development.

Today's literature, both scientific and popular, is filled with health related issues. Costs have become exorbitant and disease causes have become more numerous. One cause that has taken on more importance is the incidence of obesity and poor fitness. As a nation we need to take better care of ourselves. The Department of Health and Human Services has recently published new government guidelines for exercise because of this problem.

However, physical fitness is just one of five different fitness concerns. This ministry
makes an effort to improve "wholeness" or total fitness which includes emotional, social, intellectual, physical, and spiritual fitness. Exercise is a useful tool for improving each of these fitness areas.

Granted we all know the body is limited, temporary, in relation to the spirit. We all need to develop spiritually but much of that development is prevented by our physical limitations. The emphasis on the spiritual over the physical is a common reason many people do not take better care of the body and ultimately do not enjoy the benefits of good health and fitness.

In that regard Health Fitness Ministries is offering a unique program that provides an
opportunity to discover the benefits of improved health and fitness. Several services are available and can be tailored to meet your specific needs. Please explore our web site for descriptions of these services: www.healthfitnessministries.org.

Equipping assistance is also available for the development of your own Health Fitness Ministry. Consultations, on-going help with planning, implementation and maintenance of your program are an important part of our services.

If you are interested in learning more about any of these services, please contact me at (321) 267-1825 or (970) 631-2882 or by email at HealthFitnessMin@aol.com. It would be my pleasure to talk with you at your convenience. Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely,

Tony Whitney
